Order Processing and Dispatch
We aim to dispatch orders within 5 working days of receipt. Unless a backorder item was selected, this may take additional time. Occasionally, items may be out of stock; in these cases, we will inform you and offer an alternative or the option to cancel the item or the entire order.

UK Delivery

Royal Mail Standard:

1st Class: 1-3 day delivery time from dispatch (not time guaranteed).

2nd Class: 3-5 day delivery time, estimated from dispatch (not time guaranteed).

Royal Mail Tracked:

Tracked 48: 2-3 day delivery time from dispatch, fully tracked service. (Not time-guaranteed)

Parcelforce:  2-3 day delivery time from dispatch, fully tracked service. (Not time-guaranteed)

Free Delivery: Orders over £75 qualify for free delivery. Free delivery typically takes 3-5 days from dispatch via Standard Delivery. 

International Orders (Outside UK)
All international orders are zero-rated for VAT and shipped duty-free. Please note that SJH Model Boats only covers shipping costs—any additional fees for import duties, VAT, or customs clearance are the responsibility of the customer. These charges vary by region, and we recommend checking your country’s customs regulations before ordering.

International shipping is typically handled via Royal Mail Tracked Service, Parcelforce or UPS, and costs vary depending on weight and destination.

Shipping to the USA

We are currently shipping to the US and all are duty (tariff pre paid)

Proof of Delivery
Proof of delivery is provided through a scanned delivery confirmation by our courier. If you have not received your order within 7 days of dispatch confirmation, please contact us. (Be sure to check junk or spam folders for any email correspondence from us.)

Delivery Times Disclaimer
All quoted delivery times are estimates based on the day of dispatch. Please be aware these timeframes may be affected by high-traffic periods, such as holidays or severe weather conditions. We will notify you of any known delays promptly. 

Delays and Lost Parcels

Occasionally, deliveries may take longer than the estimated timeframe due to courier delays, high-traffic periods, or severe weather. We monitor all shipments and work with the courier to resolve any issues. A refund or replacement will only be issued once the courier officially classifies a parcel as lost, which may take up to 10 working days after the expected delivery date. We will review each case individually.

Returns and Refunds
For information on returns, cancellations, or refunds, please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy. If an international shipment is returned to us due to unpaid import fees, a refund will be issued for the item’s purchase price only, excluding original shipping costs.
